December 11 Koryo Party♡

Today we had a Koryo party. Before this party, we practiced our entertainment and got ready to set our hair style. We were very nervous. This party was started at 5:30. Around this time, some host family came  there. My host mother came with her sister. It was the first time to meet her so I said "Nice to meet you." Her name is Ruth. She lives in Germany. She looks like my host mother!! Maybe about 5:45 we started eating some food. It was very good. I liked chickens and chocolate cakes. After that, we showed our entertainment♬ We danced with Japanese pop song. I hope it was great. Next Matt talked a speech so I got crying but I put up with my cry. Then we started our speech. First turn was me and I would talk a lot of things but I couldn't. Later we gave some letter to our teacher; Matt, Sally, Victoria and Lindsaye. After we took many pictures each other. I had a lovely time♡ Thank you!!

December 2 Near Christmas♡

In this morning, it was snowing. It was first time to see snow in York so I was very happy. However, it was freezing and hard to go to university by walk. After that in the 1st class, we decorated the Christmas tree. First, there was only tree and we started decorating. We hang up things so the tree became cute♡ It took about 15 minutes. It was really exciting♬

December 1 Visit Rie's House♡

Today, I went to Rie's house with Mizuki. It took 30 minutes from York university. We arrived her house and ate some snacks. After we talked a lot until dinner. At 6:30, we had a chicken curry for dinner♡ Then we ate a strawberry mousse as dessert. It was really nice. After meal, we talked about school assessment. Next week, we'll have that so maybe we'll be very busy. At 9:30, Rie's host mother took me to my house. Thank you Alex♡ After that I did my homework and went to bed. Good night＊zZZ

November 30 My answer for Koryo students☆

Thank you for some questions♡ My pleasure to answer the questions.

1. Dear Chiaki, Maki and Azusa: What is your favorite place in York? (and) What place do you like best in York?
I like all place in York. There are many historic places. Especially, I like the city centre. It's the best place to spend your weekends♬

2. Dear Ayaka, Miho and Yuka: What is the most delicious food (or your favourite food) in York?
I like the British food♡ I recommend a Shepherds pie. It's really delicious. I published a picture of that in this blog. It wasn't mutton but very nice. I loved it♡

3. Dear Noriko: Where did you travel in Europe? (and) Do you enjoy York's city center?
We went to London and Paris. These place was really nice and we had very good time there.

I enjoyed going the city centre. In this place, you can go shopping, eating and seeing great building.

4. Dear Mami: Is Bonfire Night held every year?
Yes,it is. Some people likes Bonfire Night so they set off fireworks.

5. Dear Megumi and Natsuki: Have the illuminations gone out in York?
Yeah!! Now in the city centre, there are a lot of illuminations of Christmas. It's really beautiful.

6. Dear Nagisa and Azusa: How are your homestays? (*Azusa will go to New Zealand for a month in February, so any advice you might have for her about staying with a host family would be lovely!! ~ Andrea)
My host family is very kind so I don't have problem. However, my friend had problem with her host family. I advise you that you should talk with them as much as possible!!

7. Dear Akiko and Risa: Who is a famous artist at Haworth? (and) How was your Halloween party?
I couldn't remember about singer. I'm so sorry. 

The Halloween party was really nice. I went there with my friend. We had good time.

8. Dear Maki: Are your classes difficult? (and) Do you feel homesick?
I like to go to university but it's a little bit difficult. Now I feel a little homesick.

November 16 Go to Haworth☆

Last Thursday we went to Haworth for school trip. We looked around there and went to shops. I bought nothing but there were many art things. It was really nice. At lunch time we went to restaurant and I ate pastry&chips. It was good. Then we went an art galley and looked many pictures. After that we went back to York and went home. Today we had nice time there!!

November 6 Trip for Paris♡

I went to Paris on November of 1 to 4 with my friends. First we went the Palace of Versailles and we entered inside. There were a lot of furniture. It was very beautiful so I'm surprised!! After that, we went to see tour Eiffel but we couldn't go up. However, it was wonderful so we took many pictures of this!!!! Next we went to Louvre to see the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci. We spent 2 hours there. There were many famous work of art. We enjoyed making ours rounds in the Louvre. After we went to Champs-Elysees to see the Triumphal arch and go shopping so I bought two watches and a wallet. In this trip, I bought many souvenir for my parents so I'm really satisfied with this trip. We were very happy because we could have good time!!!!

Ocotober 31 Halloween Party☆

Today is Halloween. This is pumpkin face!! My host children made it. Tonight maybe we will have a pumpkin soup at the dinner.
We'll have a big party today so I'll wear a costume. I'm very looking forward to going party!! We'll go to a house of my host mother's friend. Another families will come there too. It will be a very big party!!
After the party, I'll must pack my luggage because we'll go to trip of Paris in France tomorrow!! I have a lot of things which have to do so today will be busy. But I'm very exciting now. I hope to go to there early!!!!!!!

October 17 Ask-York Restaurant☆

Yesterday, we went to restaurant in York City Centre. It's the Italian restaurant. There were a lot of people and it was very huge!! We sat table and ordered pizza or pasta. A few minutes later, they was carried and put down a table. I ordered Spaghetti Gorgonzola. It was very delicious!! After the meal, we went to Macdonalds and ate ice cream. I had good time!!

October 1 York Life☆

One week passed since I came to UK. It is very cold here now. I have already worn down. The row of houses along a city street of York is very beautiful. In there, nature overflows and is very splendid. I went to the civic center on last Saturday. It is York Minster to have been outstanding most in that. Is magnificent, and the Northern Europe's greatest church is beautiful; won. When a day shined, the stained glass was brilliant and was beautiful. I ate fish & Tips for the first time afterwards. It was very delicious. But it had much some oil. Now I'm Japanese foods chic . The life of this place is very still pleasant. Therefore I try so hard that I can speak English well early.
